After trying to conceive for over a year, our lucky day has come.  I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!  We weren’t so sure at first though……  I used a pregnancy test that a friend (Yuewen) gave me on my 30th birthday.  There were two little displays.  The directions said, if you see two vertical lines meant PREGNANT but one single vertical line meant NOT pregnant.  So after peeing on the stick, we saw two vertical lines but one of them had a horizontal line through it too.  What does horizontal mean?????

Pish and I starred it for at least 10 minutes.  We were in shock and still skeptical.  So I went upstairs and took another test that I had.  This one was way more clear!  It was a digital display that spelled out the word so that there would be no confusion.  After peeing again, it clearly said PREGNANT!  Two for two.  We were pretty sure now!  YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

We’ve decided not to tell people yet since so much can happen in the beginning.  Well, except my mom.  I had to call her right away.  I told her not to tell my dad yet.  He has a big mouth and always says, “If you don’t want me to tell, then don’t tell me.”
