Katie had a little runny nose and fever last week but we just assumed it was teething (we like to blame everything on teething) since her molars are starting to come out. She got better by the weekend but then earlier this week is got worse again. Then yesterday my mom heard a little bit of wheezing so I took her to the doctor. They said it was just a cold and recommended some medication.
Luckily, Katie is acting normal but her poor nose won’t stop running. And of course, Pish is sick now. He took Nyquil the past two nights and has been snoring so loud!
Both Katie and Pish are home today getting some rest. Hopefully they get better before our long weekend.
Is 11 days before a trip to Hawaii too late to start working out??? I weighed myself yesterday and it looks like I gained a couple pounds. Just in time for me to get into a bathing suit! argh…
Sometimes it takes Katie a while to warm up to people when she hasn’t seen them for a while. So to prepare, I decided to print out a picture of the person a couple days before we were going to see them. That way Katie would recognize them. It has been working well so far!
Yesterday we printed some pictures to get her ready for this coming weekend. After looking at the pics she was able to point out everyone already. Check out the video below.
This weekend was Casey’s surprise birthday party. He looked really surprised. :)

We were very excited when Edith and Leon asked Katie to be a ring bearer in their upcoming wedding. I did have to tell Leon that girls are flower girls and not ring bearers though! :)
They ordered her a very cute dress and I just picked up some shoes to match. Check out the outfit below. I can’t wait for her to get all dressed up!
