We finally had a relaxing weekend!  We actually had nothing planned.  Amazing, huh? I loved it.  Besides Pish working a little in the morning and we had lunch with the fam, we were home for most of the weekend.  On Saturday morning we decided to join The Chen’s at the Lowes Build and Grow.   Every Saturday morning they have a free project for kids.  They get an apron, goggles and they use a mini hammer to build something.  This week was a ball toss.  Katie had fun.  We’ll probably go to more now!

Ever since she saw all the characters (and wanted to take pictures with all of them) at the Kidsfaire, Katie wants to take pictures with everything.  At the post office she saw a big mailbox, ran up to it, turned around and said, “Mommy take a picture!”

On Sunday morning, Pish and I actually dragged our butts to the track and ran a mile each.  We had to take turns since one of us had to keep Katie entertained.  It was nice to be out in the cold crisp air but I realized I have a mental block with running.  I just don’t like it.  I had to force myself to finish the mile.  My jiggly butt was some motivation too.  I really need to exercise more.  Later in the day, Katie and I took some naps.  Yes, some…I took two that day.    Katie woke up from her nap crying for daddy.  I carried her downstairs and she fell asleep on Pish.  It was so cute!
