Free Potty Training Kit

Clike HERE to receive the offer.

I just signed up to receive this Free Potty Training Kit.  We’ll see if it’s really free.  I guess I didn’t really learn anything from my last free deal.  I’m such a sucker.  hehe.  Well, at least this time, I didn’t have to give my credit card information.  So they can’t steal money from me.  :)

Tan (part 2)

I found a place that does tan parties (5 or more people)!  The best part is that they come to your house.  Also, they come with gift bags, everyone gets a discounted price, and the host is free!  Anyone interested???  I’ll provide the drinks and we can make it a real party!  hehe

I’ve got a couple inquiries about my proposed tan party.  The regular price is $45 but our group discount will be $35/person and it’s the personalized airbrush method.

Sale! Sale! Sale!

Macys is having a huge one day sale TODAY!  I went at lunchtime just to look but ended up doing some damage.  For Katie, I got a jacket and a couple dresses for $6 each and a couple t-shirts for $3 each.  For me I got a couple dresses and tops.  The dresses were originally $69 but I paid $27!

I forgot to bring coupons that gave additional savings but the salesperson said I had up to ten days to bring it in and they’d reimburse me.  So I’m going to get another $20 off!  I like Macys.  :)

Money saving tip

I recently learned about the Forever stamps.  The United States Postal Service started offering this stamp, which will always be valid as First-Class postage.  So that means you buy it now for $0.41 and it will always be valid, even if stamp prices go up.

And guess what??  Prices go up next week!!  So stock up on your Forever stamps.  They sell them at costco (well, at the Aliso costco.  Check your own local listings for availability).

I need to save money any way I can.  It cost me $76 to fill my gas tank yesterday!

Upromise

I recently learned about a website called Upromise.  This free program earns members rebates on purchases of select brands at participating retail stores and services. The rebates can be applied toward education savings accounts or directly to student loans.

All you have to do is register for an account.  Then register your rewards cards (ie. Ralphs, albertsons, cvs, etc) and when you buy qualifying items, you will automatically earn money for your child.  There are many other ways to earn money but this is the most brainless one.  Since I’m a big fan of CVS now, I registered my card at upromise.  I recently bought two cans of Enfamil formula and have already earned $0.56 towards Katie’s future college fund!

College tuitions have increased on average by 76 percent at public four-year institutions over the last decade. Private four-year institutions have seen an average increase of 62 percent.  Can you imagine what tuition will be like when Katie goes to college in the year 2025???

So check out Upromise for your kids or feel free to register for an account to earn Katie some money!  :)   Click HERE.

Upromise is also currently giving away $25,000.  You just need to create a personal video telling them why your child deserves it.  I’m thinking of submitting Katie’s laughing videos.  It doesn’t really show why she deserves it, but it’s just so darn cute.  :)
